We are in search of a Permanent CNC Machinist (Mill) who is passionate about creating high-quality products and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who can expertly manage CNC machines to perform different tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling. If you are a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Machinist (Mill), you will be responsible for:

1. Setting up and managing CNC machines to perform various tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
2. Translating engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
3. Ensuring the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
4. Overseeing the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
5. Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
6. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
7. Loading raw materials into the CNC machines.
8. Checking finished products to ensure quality standards are met and making necessary adjustments when needed.
9. Ensuring all safety standards are adhered to while operating the machinery.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Mill) or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in G-code programming.
3. Extensive knowledge in CNC set up and industrial machining.
4. Familiarity with the operation of CNC mill machinery and tooling.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong understanding of the mechanics of machines.
8. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
9. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
10. A high degree of precision and excellent manual dexterity.
11. High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
