UPMC North Central PA is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for our Lock Haven location. This is a night shift position. Additionally, you will participate in an every-other-weekend rotation.

\nThis role is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus! The amount of the sign-on bonus is dependent upon your years of Respiratory Therapist experience.

\nRRTs and CRTs will be considered. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based his/her individual experience, education, and certifications.
\nThe Respiratory Therapist, under the general direction of a physician and by prescription, provides respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities in the cardiopulmonary system. Defined responsibilities are performed in all patient populations and all patient service areas.

Responsibilities: \nA graduate of a Co ARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory program required OR students who have received a temporary license are permitted to begin employment with approval from the Human Resources department along with their official transcripts.
\nBasic Life Support or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is required.
\nCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required prior to the expiration of the temporary practice permit. Respiratory therapists who receive their CRT credential from the NBRC after July 1, 2002, are required to maintain certification under the NBRC requirements
