The starting pay for this position is $22.00/hr; however, it may vary depending on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and tire discounts. The role of the Roadside Technician involves responding to tire-related failures for semi-truck fleets. When a customer experiences a tire issue, a Technician is dispatched to repair or replace the tire roadside. When not on service calls, Technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning, and organizing the shop. Experience isn't required; training will be provided. This is a full-time, entry-level position with a mandatory on-call rotation, including weekends and nights, with double-time pay for after-hours calls. Basic requirements include a valid driver’s license, age 21 or older, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. No prior experience is necessary, but a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Skills learned include servicing commercial tires, performing repairs, and adhering to safety regulations.
